Emilia received a Masters of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
She is a Licensed Architect registered in New York and Connecticut, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration board [NCARB], LEED accredited [BD+C], and is a member of American Institute of Architects [AIA]. In addition, she is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New York and Connecticut.
Emilia is an active member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County [HBRA] as well as being a board member of the Professional Women in Building Council [PWB] of the National Association of Home Builders.
Prior to launching her own firm, Emilia worked for the distinguished architecture firms of Robert A.M. Stern architects and Hillier Architecture in New York City.
Emilia has taught as an adjunct professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology College of Architecture and Design for five years, teaching architecture design studios and graphic courses. She has also been an invited instructor by [AIANY ENYA] (Emerging NY Architects) to teach architecture registration exam courses since 2009. In addition, she is currently teaching technical drawing courses at Purchase College State University of New York.
